Bradley Boren Obituary

William Bradley Boren, the son of Raeoma (Etherton) and William Alan Boren, was born March 29, 1953 at Red Cloud, Nebraska. He departed this life following a brief illness on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Sunrise Care Center in Milford, Nebraska at the age of 65 years and 25 days.

Brad grew up in the Red Cloud community and graduated from the Red Cloud High School with the class of 1971. Following the completion of his formal education he remained in Red Cloud for a year where he was employed with the Farmers Union Grocery Store. In 1973, he moved to Lincoln, Nebraska where he was employed in various jobs until 2004, when he moved to Omaha, Nebraska to make his home.

Brad's personality was pervaded by a quite and thoughtful demeanor. He possessed a keen sense of humor and was especially generous with his time to help his family and friends. He enjoyed watching sports and especially loved supporting and following his two nieces as they played softball growing up. In his leisure time he enjoyed bowling and working and planting his flowers.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Bill and Flora Boren, and Ray and Mary Etherton; his father, Bill Boren, and an infant sister, Anna Boren.

Left to treasure his memory are his mother, Raeoma Boren of Red Cloud, Nebraska; a sister, Deanne Wehnes and husband Richard of Lincoln, Nebraska; two nieces, Leslie Wehnes and Jennifer Willey and husband, Wade; a great niece, Grace Willey; other relatives and friends.
