Charlie Lee Stephens, the daughter of Michelle Lee (Weddle) and Jason Stephens, was born June 20, 2013 at Broken Bow, Nebraska.  Charlie was diagnosed with cancer in September of 2015 and lost her bravely fought battle on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the Children’s Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 5 years, 6 months and 20 days.

Charlie was a member of the Northern Valley Grade School’s kindergarten class at Almena, Kansas. Her personality was pervaded by her outgoing and spirited nature. She loved dolls, dancing, singing, being read books, playing on her Ipad and snuggling with her many dolls, animals and especially her Minnie Mouse. She loved to mischievously play with her brother, Mason, playing with her nerf gun and running around the house. Her passion and love of life will be cherished and fondly remembered by everyone.

Preceding her in death were her Grandpa Bill Wernecke and Papa Randy Wulf.
