Esther Elizabeth Holmes

Superior resident Esther Holmes the daughter of William H. and Irma Opal Norcross Holmes was born May 20, 1929 in Nuckolls County, Nebraska She departed this life on Friday November 29, 2019 at her home in Superior, NE. 

In 1974 Esther moved into Nelson, Nebraska where she was baptized at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on June 2, 1979.  Shortly after she returned to Superior to live where she had a career in janitorial services as well as industrial piece-rate work for various business throughout Nebraska.

Esther loved shopping, socializing, her Anne Geddes and porcelain doll collections.  Esther had a zest for life, which she shared with others with her laugh, sense of humor and smile that could light up a room.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers and aunt Agnes Holehouse.

Her survivors are her entire Mid Nebraska Individual Service staff, clients who were her family and everyone one who was privileged to know her.

Services will be held this Tuesday 10:30 am December 3, 2019 at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, Nebraska.  Pastor Jon Albrecht will be officiating.  Burial will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, NE.  Condolences may be sent to the family at wmsfh.com.  Williams Funeral Home of Superior, NE is in charge of the arrangements.
