Gordon E. Springer

Gordon Earl Springer, 75 of Lincoln, NE, passed away May 22, 2018.  Gordon was born January 29, 1943, in Superior, Nebraska to Willard and Nada (Beavers) Springer. Gordon is survived by his wife Deborah Kay Springer; daughters Roberta Joy Springer, Longmont, CO, Pauli Springer, Fayetteville, AR, and foster son Tony Castillo of Bennett, NE. Three brothers, Vic (Diana), Bill (Jan) and Ron (Pat) Springer, many nieces and nephews and lots of friends. Preceded in death by his parents.

Gordon graduated from Superior High School, served as a sergeant in the United States Air Force and graduated from Ozark Christian College. Gordon married the love of his life Deborah Blazer in 1974 and moved to Lincoln NE where they made their lives together. Gordon was a member of Capital City Christian Church where he was a leader of the Bible Bowl program.

Private family burial was held at Evergreen Cemetery in Superior, Nebraska.
