Kim Kohn Obituary

Kim Dace Kohn, the daughter of Donna Marie (Collins) and Samuel Ivan Klingenberger, was born October 20, 1963 at Superior, Nebraska. She departed this life on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska at the age of 54 years, 4 months and 14 days.
 

Kim grew up in the Denver, Colorado area and received her formal education attending Thomas Jefferson High School where she graduated with the class of 1991. She remained in the Denver area where she was employed for fifteen years with Wells Fargo as a personal banker.  She later moved to Red Cloud to be near her family.  After moving to Nebraska, Kim was employed as a clerk for Casey's General Store and later with Dollar General.

​Her personality was pervaded by a kind and consideration demeanor towards everyone she met. She dearly loved her family and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

​Preceding her in death were her parents, Donna and Samuel Klingenberger; a brother, Rex Bradley Klingenberger and her daughter, Trisha Dilley.

​Left to treasure her memory are her grandchildren, Sam and Jack Dilley; her brothers and sisters, Jack and Deb Klingenberger of Inavale, Nebraska; Bonnie and Phil Franken of Parker, Colorado; Doug and Ellen Klingenberger of Parker, Colorado and Peggy and Tim Welton of Littleton, Colorado. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

 

Memorial services were Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., March 7, 2018 at the Congregational Bible Church in Red Cloud with the Rev. Gary Bennett officiating.
