Marcia A Reich

Marcia Ann Reich, the daughter of Frances Fern (Bowen) and Marion N. Jones, was born September 13, 1934 in Labette County, Kansas. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the Webster County Community Hospital in Red Cloud, Nebraska at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 25 days.

Marcia received her formal education attending rural schools near Labette and graduated from the Oswego High School. She was employed for a short period of time with Hallmark Cards and then began her forty-year career as a telephone operator with Southwestern Bell.

She was united in marriage with Raymond L. Reich on December 19, 1955 at Oswego, Kansas. She lived in North Dakota, Kansas and then Arvada, Colorado. Following their retirement, they left Colorado in 2001 and  moved to the Red Cloud to make their home. Marcia was baptized in 1972 with the Jehovah Witness Church and spent many dedicated and fulfilling years sharing her ministry.

She pursued a number of interests and activities in her spare time. For many years Marcia and Ray traveled around the country enjoying many sites. She took great pride in caring for her home and beautiful yard. Her strong work ethic was evidenced by her garden, clean house and her thorough organizational skills. She loved to tell stories and visits with her church family and many friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Kevin in 2004; son-in-law, Robert Fuhler on September 8, 2018; two brothers, Robert and David Jones and a sister, Genalee Collins.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Ray, of Red Cloud, Nebraska; daughters, Pam Fuhler of Bradenton, Florida and Michelle Christenson of North Platte, Nebraska; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Karen Modica; brothers, John, Marvin and Nick Jones; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 3:00 p.m., June 1, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall OJW in Red Cloud.
