Mike J Kral

Michael James Kral, the son of Virginia (Holthaus) and James T. Kral, was born August 1, 1956 at Hastings, Nebraska. He departed this life unexpectedly at his home in Campbell, Nebraska on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the age of 62 years, 11 months and 16 days.

A lifelong resident of the Bladen and Campbell area, Mike received his formal education attending the Bladen schools and graduated with the class of 1974. Mike began his life’s work farming and working with an area cattle feedyard operation. In later years he enjoyed harvesting and doing custom bailing around the area. He was married to Tammy Carlson at Red Cloud, Nebraska and this union was blessed with a son, Jared, and a daughter, Tara.  They were later divorced.

Mike possessed and pursued a number of interests and activities throughout his life. From the time he was a small boy he was always happiest on the farm, working the livestock, riding the tractors and farming the land. He had deep love for rodeos and in his younger years enjoyed bull riding and participating in the wild horse races at the county fair. He enjoyed relaxing working crossword puzzles, driving the country side, watching westerns and especially taking the time to compare and tell stories with his many friends and neighbors. His love for his children and grandchildren was immeasurable and he especially treasured the time they spent together.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Kral.

Left to cherish his memory are his son and daughter-in-law, Jared and Ashley Kral of Holstein, Nebraska and children, Owen and Hattie; his daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Brad Stolcpart of Kearney, Nebraska and children Brynlee and Marley; his mother, Virginia Kral of Bladen; a brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Jeannie Kral of Bladen; three nieces and families; other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were Monday, 11:00 am, July 22, 2019 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Campbell with Fr. James Schrader officiating. Interment was at the East Lawn Cemetery in Bladen.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established by the family for later designation.
