Vicki M. (Kimbraugh) Dougherty, was born October 31, 1965 at Bakersfield, California. She departed this life peacefully at her home in Guide Rock, Nebraska on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the age of 54 years.

Vicki received her formal education attending the Hastings public schools and Kensington, Kansas where she was a cheerleader, and the Bryan Learning Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Vicki was united in marriage with Marlyn Dougherty on August 3, 1984. This union was blessed with two sons, Trevor and Aaron. The marriage later ended in divorce. Vicki was employed as a waitress with the OK Café in Hastings for a period of time and also worked as a flagger with Vontz Paving Company. Vicki and her partner, Ron Devitt, were blessed in 1990 with a daughter, Tiffany. In 1998, a second daughter, Kailah, was born with her partner, Christy Timmons.

In her leisure time Vicki enjoyed planting flowers, the outdoors, camping and fishing. She especially cherished time with her kids and grandchildren and the company of her cat, Cheeto.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Johnna Pavelka; a son, Preston Lee Dougherty; and grandparents, Naomi and Wayne Piel.

Left to treasure her memory are her children, Trevor Dougherty and wife, Heather, of Oklahoma City and daughter, Mila; Aaron Dougherty and wife, Lindsay, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and children, Cole, Preston and Clara; Tiffany Devitt of Hastings, Nebraska and children, Izaik Perkins and Aliviah Devitt; and Kailah Timmons of Smith Center, Kansas.

Also surviving are her brothers, Adam Johns and wife, Jennifer, of Lincoln, Nebraska and Lucas Conaway and wife, Sarah, also of Lincoln; her partner, Mitch Lighthill of Guide Rock, Nebraska; other relatives and a host of many friends.
