Beverly (Shaw) Jones

Beverly J. Jones, 87, of Hastings, Nebraska died Sunday, July 17, 2022, at the Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings.

The daughter of Glen and Mary (Dillon) Shaw, she was born November 10, 1934, at Guide Rock, Nebraska. A longtime resident of Webster County, Bev was united in marriage with Donald L. Jones on June 5, 1954, at Guide Rock, Nebraska. This union was blessed with three children. They made their home in Red Cloud where Bev was employed for over thirty years as the cook with the Webster County Community Hospital. Following their retirement and due to failing health in their later years, they moved to Hastings.

Surviving are her husband, Don Jones of Hastings, Nebraska; children: Linda Sue Smith of Lincoln, Nebraska; Mary Ann Quarles and husband, Tommy, of Kingsland, Texas; and Lawrence D. Jones and wife, Victoria of Hastings. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Burial was at the Guide Rock Cemetery.
