Janice Kay (Ulrich) Schroeder

Janice Kay Ulrich Holcomb Schroeder the daughter of late Dale & Chrystal Ulrich born December 11, 1946 in Osmond, NE.  Janice gained her wings on September 17th, 2019 at Parkview Haven Nursing Home in Deshler, NE. at the age 72 years 9 months and 6 days. 

Jan graduated high school from Norfolk, NE in 1965.  

Many will fondly remember Jan as the DQ delivery lady and for always giving the best advice.  One of her favorite quotes to share was "If in doubt, go without'. Jan enjoyed hitting the garage sales, bargain shopping, girl scouts, babysitting, camping, fishing, bingo, cruising with her girls and driving around to look at Christmas lights.  

Jan is preceded in death by her late husband Ken Holcomb, her parents and granddaughter Karlie Reiss.

Jan is survived by her husband Duane Schroeder, Ruskin, Lance Schroeder Siloam Springs, AR, Pam (Mike) Bower, Nelson, Darin Schroeder Siloam Springs, AR; Kris Holcomb, Nelson, NE; Kim Schroeder, Lincoln, NE; Sara (John) Mertens, Nelson, NE; Sister Joyce (Ron) VanAckeren, Hastings, NE, 15 grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives.  

Book signing will be held from 10 am to 5 pm on Friday September 20th at Williams Funeral Home in Superior, NE. Graveside services will be held on Saturday September 21, 2019 at 10:30 AM at the Washington Cemetery south of Byron, NE. Pastor Mark Diehl will be officiating.  Condolences may be sent to the family at wmsfh.com.  With a lunch to follow services at the Byron Community Center.  Williams Funeral Homes, Superior Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
