Kathleen A. Brooks
1932-2023

Excelsior Springs, Missouri- Kathleen Ann Brooks, 90, formerly of Cameron, passed away May 12, 2023. She was born November 17, 1932, in Inavale, Nebraska to Charles and Iva (Rutledge) Paulger. Kathleen graduated from Guide Rock High School and married John Brooks, November 14, 1954, in Guide Rock, Nebraska.

Kathleen was a homemaker, and bookkeeper for Cameron Accounting for many years. She volunteered at the Cameron Nutrition Site. Kathleen enjoyed homemaking and was a wonderful cook and seamstress.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, John "Bud" Brooks on July 27, 2022; brothers, Casey and Chuck; and sisters, Shirley and Mary.

Survivors includ her children, Barbara (Jim) Criswell, Liberty, Missouri, Andy (Candy) Brooks, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Russell Brooks, Kansas City, Missouri; 2 grandsons, Derik (Robyn) Brooks, Colorado, Springs, Colorado and Shannon (Michelle) Brooks, Centennial, Colorado; 4 great-grandchildren, Reese, Landon, John, and August.

Graveside inurnment will be Saturday, 10:00 am, July 17, 2023, at the Guide Rock Cemetery, Guide Rock, Nebraska with the Rev. Dan Benedict officiating.
