Larry Leroy Shaw

Larry L. Shaw passed away on Monday July 25,2022 at his home in rural Nuckolls County.

Larry was born on September 21,1949 in Davenport Nebraska to Ward L. and Betty L (Dunkle) Shaw.  Larry graduated from Edgar High School in 1967 to then attend Hastings Technical College. Larry was united in marriage to Charlene Johnson on May 25, 1970.  This union was blessed with three children Jody, Serena and Kenneth Shaw.

Survivors include wife Charlene, children Jody McConkie and husband Dave, Serena Shaw, Kenneth Shaw and fiancé Niki along with grandchildren Holly, Amber, Paige, Cooper and Jase as well as two great grand children Noah and Paxton, and one sister Wilhemina Andersen.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Ward L and Betty Shaw, brothers Randy and Rodney and grandson Patrick.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday, July 28, 2022, 10:30 am at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Edgar, Nebraska.  Randy Schneider will be officiating.  Burial with military honors will be held at the Edgar Cemetery, Edgar, NE.  Condolnces may be sent to the family at wmfh.com.   Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home.  Williams Funeral Home of Edgar, NE is iin charge of the arrangements.
