Linda Lee (Anderson) Jacobs

Linda Lee Jacobs of Hastings, NE the daughter of Walter and Georgia (Fletcher) Anderson was born August 23, 1942, in Ainsworth, NE. She departed this life peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2022, with her daughter Brittini at her side at Mary Lanning Health Care in Hastings, NE.

 As a young girl Linda went to Kindergarten in Homer, NE and several other small schools in Northeast Nebraska. Her family settled on a farmstead near Decatur, NE which is still in the family today. Linda was a free spirit and even though her family settled in South Sioux City, NE Linda ended up living with her Grandparents Ralph and Barbara Fletcher on a farm near Loup City, NE. Linda Graduated from Loup City High School. In 1962, Linda was united in marriage to Wilbur R. Heil. In 1971, Wilbur and Linda were blessed with their daughter Brittini Starr Heil. In 1977 their marriage ended sadly in divorce. 

Linda had many careers before attending Southeast Community College in Lincoln, NE where she graduated and became a medical laboratory technician. She worked many years in both Superior and Hebron Hospitals in the labs before retiring. 

 On August 8, 1988 Linda was united in marriage to Gordon E. Jacobs of Edgar, NE. Linda and Gordy (Jake) very much enjoyed their 22 years together, gardening, playing cards and just being at home with each other. They often traveled to visit the Jacobs family in Arkansas and Florida. They especially enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas. 

Linda is proceeded in death by her parents and her beloved husband Gordon E. Jacobs.

Survivors include her daughter Brittini Heil-Schuldt and husband Daniel of Hastings, grandchildren Logan Schuldt, Whitney Galvan and husband Elias of Omaha, Brice Schuldt and wife Holly of Hickman, Heather Kelley and husband Travis of Omaha, and 5 great granddaughters, along with many other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral service were Wednesday 1:00pm, March 2, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Edgar, Nebraska with Pastor Ethan Feistner officiating. Burial was at the Edgar Cemetery, Edgar, Nebraska.
