Marilyn Kay (Lambrecht) Buenker

Marilyn Kay (Lambrecht) Buenker is coming home. 
Inurnment will take place at the Red Cloud Cemetery on Friday, March 24th at 3:00 pm.

Marilyn was born December 13, 1947, to C. Malcolm and Mary (Cooper) Lambrecht. She died in Raleigh, North Carolina on March 11, 2014.

She attended primary school in Inavale and graduated from the Red Cloud High School in 1966. She received a degree in fine arts from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
In 1969, she was united in marriage with Robert Buenker and began a life of international travel and creating a home in Germany where they were blessed with three children. She was always proud of her Nebraska roots.

Marilyn was strong, inventive and a talented and creative artist. She enjoyed pottery most of all. She enjoyed meeting people wherever she traveled and was kind and generous with her time and gifts.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Mary and Malcolm Lambrecht.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert; her three children, Michael, Timothy and Anne Marie; her siblings, Sherita (Ed) Harlow, Charles Lambrecht, Anita (Kent) Savery, nieces and nephews.

The family request no flowers or memorials. They only ask that those who fondly remember Marilyn perform a random act of kindness in her memory.
