Patricia Pat Hohenfield

Patricia Sue Hohenfield the daughter of Dale and Mary Smithhart Arrants was born October 29, 1949, at Guide Rock, NE.  She departed this life on Tuesday June 21, 2022, at her home in Bladen, Nebraska at the age of 74 years.

Pat grew up in a military family traveling to multiple states west of the Mississippi. She graduated from high school with the class of 1968 at Blue Hill, Nebraska. After graduating from high school, she went on to become a beautician.  Pat was united in marriage to Michael Hohenfield on March 29, 1969, at Hastings, NE.  This union was blessed with the birth of three children.  Shortly after their marriage they moved to Iowa making their home where they raised their 3 children. 

During her lifetime, Pat had a great passion for caring for the elderly.  Pat worked at various nursing homes as a CNA and MA.  Pat loved to spend her time with her beloved husband of 53 years, she will always be remembered for her flowers, sense of humor and deal with it attitude.  She will forever be missed by all.

She is preceded by her parents, brother Bill Arrants, sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Ron Parker; father-in-law Samuel Hohenfield, 1 great grandchild and nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her husband Michael Hohenfield, Patrick Hohenfield and children: Tatiana and Robert Devine; Tricia and Devin Manser and Alex and Lilly Hohenfield; Michalle and Kody Hedden and children: Tamara and Chance Steen; Shauntelle and Matthew Schuller; Clarissa and Reid Dreckman;  son Jamie Hohenfield and children: Thaddeus Hohenfield; Taz and Ashley Hohenfield; Logan Hohenfield and Raegan Hohenfield; great grandchildren  Nicholas; Molly Blakelee; Cooper Weston; Rylie Allyson and Grace Dreckman; Dalton and Paxton Hohenfield; mother in law Jessie Garska; brother Jim and Linda Arrants; sister Nancy Gingerich and many nieces,  nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were Tuesday 10:30 am June 28, 2022, at Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Red Cloud, Nebraska.  Pastor Ron Kuehner officiating.  Burial was at the Maple Grove Cemetery near Guide Rock, Nebraska.  Condolences may be sent to the family at wmsfh.com.
