Ramona E Wulf

June 9, 1930 ~ March 26, 2020 (age 89)


Ramona E. Wulf, the daughter of Lena (Statz) and Kyle Conner, was born June 9, 1930 at Oak, Nebraska. She departed this life on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the Webster County Community Hospital in Red Cloud, Nebraska at the age of 89 years, 9 months and 17 days.

Ramona was united in marriage with Lovel Wulf on April 19, 1953 at Nelson, Nebraska. This union was blessed with a son, Craig, and daughter, Cindy. They made their home on the farm east of Guide Rock. She was an active member of the Guide Rock United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Church Women.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Lovel, on November 3, 2008; a brother, Bud Conner; and three sisters Rita Auble, Vivian Taylor and Phyllis Besch.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Craig Wulf of Guide Rock, Nebraska; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Gary Wittenbach of Hastings, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Brooke Hatfield and husband, Travis; Holly Vanderpool and husband, Joe; and Mark Wittenbach. Also surviving are great grandchildren Kassidy and Karlee Hatfield, and Delaney Vanderpool; other relatives and many friends.

Private family graveside services will be at the Guide Rock Cemetery with Rev. Warren Schoming officiating.

We are implementing the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) recommendation of only allowing 10 people at a gathering at any time.  This includes funeral services, gravesides and all visitations.  The CDC recommends that all in-person public gatherings of more than 10 people be postpone or cancelled for the next eight weeks.  While we acknowledge the importance for public gatherings to honor the lives of loved ones, the CDC believes control of such public gatherings is one of the most significant resources that may slow the spread and impact of this pandemic.
