Rollie Redeker Obituary

Rollie Redeker, the son of Mabel E. (Rickard) and Arnulf C. Redeker, was born August 26, 1942 at Red Cloud, Nebraska. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at his home in Red Cloud at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 17 days.

A lifelong resident of the Red Cloud community, Rollie received his formal education attending the Red Cloud schools and graduated with the class of 1961. Rollie then embarked on his life's work with the Food Mart Grocery Store and then with the Farmers Co-op Grocery Store, retiring in 2008.

In his leisure time Rollie enjoyed bowling, playing golf and visiting with his family and friends.  He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed following Husker athletics.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Trudie Tuengel; and three brothers, Ronnie, Richie and Craig Redeker.

Left to treasure his memory are three sisters, Zona Hines and husband Ray of Lindsborg, Kansas; Diannia Dougherty of Hickman, Nebraska and Shellie Cornwell of Lincoln, Nebraska; three brothers, Rickie of Red Cloud; Gregory and wife Charlene of Mesa, Arizona and Roddie Redeker and wife Donnajean of Battlecreek, Michigan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service for Rollie will be held in August, 2019 at the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church.
