Ronnie Christensen

             Ronnie Lee Christensen, the son of Jane Elaine (Bower) and Virgil D. Christensen, was born July 11, 1943 at Hastings, Nebraska. He departed this life on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Heritage Care Center in Red Cloud, Nebraska at the age of 77 years, 1 month and 29 days.

             A lifelong resident of the area, Ronnie grew up and received his formal education in the Campbell community. He was a farmer and stockman.  He attended Trinity Lutheran Church. His personality was pervaded by his jovial and talkative nature. He truly did not know a stranger and enjoyed visiting. He possessed a passion for Chevrolet automobiles and enjoyed a number of cars throughout his life.

Left to treasure his memory are his daughter, Maryann Romero and husband, Arturo, of Omaha, Nebraska; two grandchildren, William and Eleanor Romero; an adopted daughter Rose Lippincott and husband, Levi, of Omaha; a sister, Vicki Goracke and husband, Ronald, of Minden, Nebraska, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Saturday, 11:00 am, September 19, 2020 at the Presbyterian Cemetery at Campbell with Rev. Nathan Abel officiating.
