Sandra (Sandy) Kathryn (Johnson) Koler, 78, passed away January 28, 2023, at her home in Red Cloud, Nebraska. She was one of eight children born to Gerald and Isabel (Ray) Johnson, on April 6, 1944, on the family farm south of Red Cloud, Nebraska. Sandy was raised on the farm, where she loved helping her Mom with the daily chores of farm life. She also had many fond memories of assisting her parents in raising her younger siblings.

She loved spending time with her family; they were her greatest joy. Some of her favorite memories were of her children’s various activities which included sporting events, 4-H and scouting. She also cherished time spent with her parents and siblings.

She was a faithful member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Red Cloud. She loved the Lord and spent a lot of time in prayer interceding for family and friends. She devoted a great deal of time and effort in support of the various functions of the Sacred Heart Alter Society.

Sandy enjoyed several pastimes throughout her life. She loved volunteering for civic causes, such as the election board and the food pantry. She was passionate about working in the yard and raising flowers. She had a lot of fun collecting antiques.
