Trevor James Thayer

Trevor James Thayer the son of Ronald D. Thayer and Shanna Lee (Pritchard) Thayer was born June 22, 1990 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He departed this life on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 30 years.

Trevor graduated from Superior High School with the class of 2008.  He later attended South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota.  Trevor enjoyed playing sports, his favorite sport was baseball.  He was a switch hitter and could play every position.  He also loved basketball, lettering his junior and senior years.

Trevor had a tremendous sense of humor.  He could always make people laugh and cheer them up when they were feeling down.  Trevor also loved animals.

He is preceded in death by his grandmothers: Glenda Thayer Hiner and Marilyn Bruce and step grandfather Cal Hiner.

Trevor is survived by his mother Shanna Bane of Lincoln, NE; father and step-mother Ron and Denise Thayer of Superior, NE; brothers: Andrew Pritchard and wife Jessica of Lincoln, NE; Alex Thayer of Hastings, NE; Hunter Pritchard of Lincoln, NE; step-sister Ali Hunter and husband Bryan of Elkhorn, NE; and step-brother Ben Furman of Superior, NE other relatives and his many friends.

A celebration of life was held Tuesday 2:00 pm September 22, 2020 at the Superior Country Club, Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Natalie Faust leading the celebration.  Music was provided  by Tom Jensen.
