Walter Gene Wright

Walter Gene Wright, 82, of Hastings, Nebraska (formerly of Superior) died Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings, Nebraska.  The son of Olive E. (Davis) and Rollin E. Wright, he was born October 10, 1934 at Thermopolis, Wyoming. Walter and his wife, Geraldine, were former residents of the Superior community.

​Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Ray Wright; one brother, Rollin Wright and four sisters, Eva (Wright) Foote, Muril (Wright) Kagee, Wilma (Wright) Barbar and Verna (Wright) Zwim.

​Left to treasure his memory are his wife, Geraldine Ann (Smith) Wright of Hastings, Nebraska; daughter, Janet Wright of Ohio; a brother, JD Wright of Nevada; one sister, Alma (Wright) Wagenseller of Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial graveside services along with his wife Geri will be held this Thursday 10:00 am, June 18, 2020 at the Evergreen Cemetery, in Superior, NE.  Pastor Natalie Faust will be officiating.
